Hello, I’m Thomas and I provide high-tier in-depth tech reviews with a focus on gaming peripherals that are delivered in an entertaining, humorous, and easily understood way providing the information you need to see if it is the right product for you or not. Additionally, I break down complicated tech into easily understandable bites while showing you what the product can or can't do. I promise you'll not find better reviews anywhere.
As for me, I've beaten +250 games on the hardest difficulties, with many being 100%. In the competitive sector I've reached level 50/Onyx in Halo and tend to be in the top 10% (Diamond) for most games. At this point I've also tried a stupid amount of headsets/headphones, mice, keyboards, and other tech items. As I have a passion for tech and am always looking at the horizon seeing what is coming with eager anticipation in trying it out. I started this channel because other tech reviews left me disappointed and I wanted to make reviews I wanted to see.

Insane Cooling (15 - 20 C) - Ilano Laptop Cooler Fully Tested

I was interested in the Ilano Laptop Cooler because they boast that it will cool your laptop 15 - 20 degrees Celsius. Which I thought was pretty darn impressive. With a conclusion at the end that sums up all of my findings. FINDINGS:...

Just What I Was Looking For - Maono BA92 Low Profile Boom Arm

I was mostly interested in this guy because it has a different approach than my Rode PSA1 boom arm where it comes in from a lower position instead of an upper position. My main complaint with my PSA1 is that it would obstruct the view on my monitor when gaming with friends. Along with just never being in the perfect spot when talking. With this being a similar price, I figured it would be smoot...

The Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Is a Masterpiece - Here's Why
Fvcking excellent detailed review Do you still recommend it in 2024 It goes for the equivalent of 30-40 bucks in my country (wired version) Can't decide between it and g pro hero I plays fps games mainly
FUCK thats kinda sick that finally theres a controller that can have cases but then again the subscription, the price tag all that kinda rubs me the wrong way
got it for 19.99 and glad i didnt spend 50 on it because it sounds like a $20 speaker
I don't disagree.
Is it still worth it?
So, complicated answer. It is still an upper end mouse. However, there are a lot of other mice that have come out since that time that are better and will be at the same price or cheaper. And the new leading edge mice that are $150 (which this used to be) are a lot better. So depending on the price may be a good grab. But I would personally go with a different generation or mouse.
Dude this is my first time watching you and you are freakin awesome! This keyboard will arrive tomorrow and after watching your review, it reinforced my decision on picking it up! You were thorough and super honest but most importantly, nothing too fancy or over the top just straight forward so kudos to you You just gained another sub lol
Mine just arrived today and it's amazing
@@AzumaSamaa it’s literally better than my Glorious out of the box, I truly hate to say that due to how much I spent on it lol
@@denniskasador6037 I agree. It like this one a lot better than my Glorious. Which makes me sad. Because yeah, it was a lot more...
I appreciate the kudos. Thanks for taking the time. It is truly appreciated. Excited for you! Would love to year your thoughts on it once it comes in.
@@ThomasMuehler it’s sooo much better than I expected! I got it with the LEOBOGs and it’s straight butter!

you should try attack shark x85 also i guess that's the best one to compare with aula f75
I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Had a kishi 2 really liked it but it craps out a good bit and I notice latency sometimes with the cloud. Just got one of these on father's day sale with a protection plan lol so I can play codm and warzone mobile.
That's awesome man. I'm excited for you. Sorry to hear about the Kishi 2. That sounds frustrating.
I feel that people don't understand incremental change. It's not meant to be a must-buy replacement and it creates the added benefit of reduce price on the older model which is probably 90% as good if you want to save money. Granted I'm sure Logitech doesn't mind if a customer shells out more money on an unneeded upgrade. ^_^
You make a good point. That I agree with. Normally, your position would be the exact position I would take. For example MacBook's year to year. However, with this particular product I was expecting more. Mostly, because it has been years since the last update. This is the single greatest gaming mouse that has probably ever released (from a success and wide use standpoint). And that they have fallen dramatically behind compared to the competition. Not sure if you follow golf. But Tiger Woods was incredible in his prime. Just destroying the competition. Then he got injured and other stuff happened. His performance dropped. Others took his place. Then he came back and people wanted him to take that top spot again. The same thing with the Logitech G Pro Superlight. Great (OG release) -> very good (after time) -> very good (GPX2) when I think people wanted great.
@@ThomasMuehler I agree, a significant innovation would have been nice. From Logitech's point of view I'm thinking they don't want to break what might be working.
Does any her know how to remove the shell to clean in side or , you have video about it ,!
I don't have a video. Most of the time they have screws underneath the PTFE feet on the bottom. Which means you'd likely need to replace those. As trying to take those off and then make them work again is difficult.
@@ThomasMuehler Thank you !

Can someone please tell me of there's a difference between the epomaker X aula 75 and the normal aula 75

I haven't tried those so I dont' know.
I recently got this for free too lol so obviously I can't complain but its a great speaker, really cool how its waterproof too. Perfect for by the pool.
Tks. So I noticed the little dot inside the scroll wheel at 6:30 . Tks god, mine has it to, and I was worried. Is that possible that the scroll wheel is damaged, if I can't feel the steps clearly defined?
Easy question, hard to answer. Yes, your scroll wheel could be damaged. But I'm not sure it is. Which is where it gets a bit complicated. 1. All scroll wheels have encoders. These encoders all have different feel. A bunch of stuff goes into how these feel. Some of them are supposed to be light, with non-defined steps. Others, heavy with very defined steps. With others some mixture of the two. 2. Logitech for their GPX tends to be light with lightly-defined steps. Which to me is it working as normal. But since I can't feel it for myself I can't tell you if your scroll wheel is within normal limits or defective. 3. Usually, when a wheel is defective it isn't a feel thing (unless you get serious grinding or something that is pretty obvious isn't supposed to be happening). But moreso the encoder either not registering when you scroll, scrolling too much, too little, or going up then down when you are only scrolling in a single direction. Which can also be from dust/debris. so blowing on it can sometimes fix the issue. But my guess is that your scroll wheel probably isn't defective. It just isn't your cup of tea (from a feel standpoint). Which is similar to me. I don't like the scroll wheel on the GPX at all.
Man, I want to thank u for answering my question, and there is nothing better than this feeling right now... I was waiting for something more superfluous but u got this at perfection.... Tks again!! ❤
this was such a great review!! Thank you!
Superlight have micro-USB in 2024???? shame on u Logitech
Bro its lifesaver of some people dont be toxic
Hey bro could you help me? Should I get this or the model d- wireless I have small hands
I don't like Glorious mice. I think they suck. I think there are better options for similar price. I think this is a better mouse assuming you like the shape.
Great review thomas keep it up
Appreciate the supportive words.
how is the scroll wheel on the superlight 2? i have a superlight v1 and my scroll wheel jumps i.e. when i scroll up it registers a scroll down and vice versa. im planning to get a V2 if i dont get to fix my V1's scroll wheel.
It is trash. It's the same one. I actually hate it. Because the same thing happens to me as is happening to you. If you end up paying full price for a new one and the price difference isn't insane. I'd still go with the GPX 2. But again depends on price difference and assuming you aren't going through the RMA process.
@@ThomasMuehler sad to hear that you're having the same issue. I went on reddit and found a fix. use a WD40 or any cleaner that doesn't conduct electricity and then spray on the left side of the scroll wheel. there's a video here on youtube on how to do it. it fixed my scroll wheel and feels like brand new. do it on your on risk though. I was willing to buy a new one that's why I tried it. also, thanks for replying!
@@OniiKumaa I appreciate the tip and glad it worked on yours. One of the issues with a lot of scroll wheel encoders is that if dust or debris gets into them that it can cause problems to occur. Usually that is the case for the cheaper encoders that Logitech has been known to use. Despite the price point of their mice which is disappointing. I think my biggest issue isn’t so much it jumping but with it being so light without dedicated steps it can sometimes sit in between a set and then move when I move the mouse causing it to jump. Or just not be as accurate as a lot of others. Which I didn’t explain all that well earlier. My apologies.
@@ThomasMuehler No apologies needed. thank you for the feedback too! I agree. this was a known issue for Logitech and the price should have been cheaper if they're gonna use a cheap encoder.
Absolutely can't stand these headphones. Unfortunately they're my first wireless headphones so I don't have anything to compare them to. It takes easily 20-30 seconds to connect the microphone for some reason (software/dongle issues?). Every morning I try to connect to a Teams meeting and there is a 70% chance I will be able to hear people but my microphone will not work. I need to leave Teams and then cycle the whole pairing process- and there is still a 50% chance that it won't work upon rejoining. Also the microphone kind of sucks anyway. Maybe I'm jaded because I have an SM7B at my desktop, but headset microphone quality is far from 'Good'.
That sounds awful. Sorry you're going through that. That is my biggest complaint of this guy as well. As it just doesn't seem to work 100% of the time making it cumbersome and take way too much finagling. Also, you are very right the sound quality from your SM7B and this guy is going to be dramatic. In general headset microphones are meh. Add wireless to that and they are usually a bit worse. If you are wanting a headset strickly for calls and talking I'd recommend the Corsair HS80 wired. Heard the wireless does pretty well too. But haven't tried it personally. That microphone is incredible for a headset.
What’s the 2nd keyboard shown in the video
Glorious GMMK Pro with Panda Switches and Steelseries Aura2 keycaps.
how about rechargeable aaa battery
I'm not fully understanding the question. Yes, a rechargeable AAA or AA (depending on adapter if you so wish) would work just fine in this. The only downside is they tend to be heavier. But if that isn't a con to you then that would be a great way to go.
@@ThomasMuehler I've used aaa with foil but battery icon showing less than 50% charge
@@girish9648 I don't have a lot of education on electricity/batteries. But I'd imagine the reason why battery icon is showing <50% is because you're jerry-rigging it with the foil which doesn't allow it to get the correct electrical impulses to give you an accurate battery reading.
@@ThomasMuehler it is working fine now
Price wise is so much diff too…
I haven't kept up with the price differences between the two.
has anyone told you you look like jonathan frakes
No, I have not heard that one before. I've gotten a lot of Jack Black. Joseph Gordan Levitt. And a bit of Gerald Butler.
I actually like SteelSeries Engine. Because I can easily turn in completely off. A simple "exit" after a right click in the system tray, and it's off. Not a process to be found in task manager at all. Everything stored in the onboard memory on my devices. Razer Synapse on the other hand, has up to 7-8 tasks running in the background even after I've pressed exit, and if I'm not mistaken, it actually starts them up on boot even if I have turned off the setting for Synapse to be among my startup programs. So in this comparison, SS Engine is great! Do your business, and then you may banish it to the shadowrealm with ease
I agree with everything you just said. lol. I just wish they could make something where I'm able to change my lighting, change my polling rate, change buttons, and if needed macros and other things while being lightweight. I don't need all the other stuff. Or it should be selected as modules so if you don't want it then it isn't there. But we aren't there yet.
Deserves more attention
Hello, I would like to take a weight off my shoulders here I have to say that I was in doubt for a long time between the Astro A30 and the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023). Today I bought an A30 on Amazon for $170 and I would like to ask, even if late, if I made a good purchase when compared to a Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) for the same price. From a general perspective, which headset do you think is the Astro A30 or the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023)? Depending on the answer, I'll ask for a refund on the A30 and buy the Razer XD Can you help qith my doubt? Great video!!!!!! Ps.: It's worth mentioning that I really like the aesthetics of the A30 as a Headset
Sorry, I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Would love to hear your thoughts now that you've had time to test it out. I haven't tried the Blackshark V2 Pro. So I can't actually give you a good answer. What I can say is I did not enjoy the BlackShark V2 Hyperspeed (cheaper, totally different sound so can't compare to the BlackShark Pro). That while I still find a lot of issues with the A30 I still put it ahead of a lot of the other headsets that I've tried. But don't think it hits the premiere category like others have in similar price range. So while I don't think it was the best choice I don't think it is necessarily a bad choice. As personal preference does play a significant role. As does what features you're looking for. And what other things you've tried which can't be discounted. I tend to be very sound focused and willing to put everything else to the side. I try to keep my reviews as unbiased as I can. But that can be hard. There are a lot of things it does right. I just think sound quality could be better and usability could be improved. As operating it can sometimes be quite cumbersome.
Hello everything is fine? Thanks for the answer!! I've been testing the A30 for a few weeks now and I can say that it's easily the best headset I've ever had. As I've never had very expensive headsets, I'm not the best person to evaluate them in comparative terms. But I can say that I am satisfied with this phone! The possibility of being able to change the ear cushions is really cool! I did some more in-depth research on the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 and discovered that a coworker of mine had it. I was surprised by my colleague's negative reports, citing some bugs, questionable microphone quality, etc. My colleague criticized my choice, for having paid €170 for my A30, as he said that I would have gotten a much better and more complete headset if I had researched more. As soon as I want, I'll buy another headset and see if the A30 was really a good choice. I'm going to take advantage and ask right here, which other headset in the €100 - €200 range would you be recommending?
@@kauagamap That’s awesome! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. One thing I’ve learned buying a bunch of tech is that you can fall into the hole of always looking for the next best thing. Which is a dangerous trap. No need to listen to me or your colleague. This is a solid headset and you enjoy it. No need to go looking for another one. And honestly, no other real recommendation jumps out at me off the top of my head.
Too many connectivity options. Just give it a single cord.
While I totally understand where you are coming from. I respectfully disagree. I like options.
So the conclusion is, as an owner of superlight gen 1, there is absolutely no reason getting the superlight 2, cuz im considering it strongly as its on sale for a little over $100 bucks in my local store, the main selling point for me being the usb-c, but what i find devolutional is that they didn't do anything to the feet, which forces me to invest another $20 bucks in other feet/skates, which i would say is mandatory, unfortunately. I'd really appreciate a third-party opinion🙏 p.s in the back of my mind im sure the superlight 2 will become even cheaper with time, as we saw with the superlight gen 1.
Yes. 1. Need third party feet. 2. Scroll wheel is the same. Which sucks. 3. Buttons while being optical are louder. Don't feel as crisp. But no double click. 4. Sensor is better. Performs better. And still one of the best performing mice and I think slightly faster than the GPX 1. Also, they came out with the 4,000 hz now. I haven't had much time to test it though. 5. USB-C is very nice. 6. I may have mentioned some other things in the video. But with time those are the main things I remember from it. So, I still think for most people the upgrade is not worth it. If your mouse breaks I would get the 2 at that point. Along with if you could sell your GPX1 it may be worth the upgrade then. Or finally, if you are like me and just like having the latest and greatest and tend to be able to convince yourself you made the right decision there are enough things here that you'd probably be OK with that. But if you are not one of those idiots (like myself) then you'd probably say it was a stupid decision.
sorry if you said this but did you say if it works on iMac not Mac book does it work in iMac?
Yes, unless if an iMac is using some special type of operating system. It should all be on MacOS which it supports.
Oh boy more cables running everywhere😅😅😅
Dude... so many cables. Even when I try not to use a lot of cables I still have way too many.
Hi i bought the keyboard but i cant remap the keys i download the driver but i really cant understand how to remap some advice?
I didn't know there was software. I have no idea about any of it. I can't help. i'm sorry.
Would downgrading to Windows 10 fix the low RAM problem?
No. Hard to explain why without going into a masterclass. But put simply it is a very complex answer that essentially ends with I think it would be negligible. And technically, if Windows 11 is doing what it is supposed to be doing it should be using less RAM. But real-world and theoretical are two different things.
I saw in another video that there is a place to customize your keyboard and update your firmware, but after I followed it there has been a delay in responsiveness or responsiveness goes in and out. I’ve tried to reset it, but it doesn’t work. help 😭
Oh no that sounds awful. I think you'll have to reach out directly to them for support. As I have no idea.
What about feel in a palm? My wireless mamba started to doubleclikck and I’m thinking of a new mouse. Any opinion on the feel in a hand?
I'm not sure if I fully understand your question. It has quite the hump which you do feel in your palm. I didn't try the Mamba. Also, hand shape, size, preference, etc. is all highly personal. So something that fits for me may not fit for you. In general I do think that the V3 shape is improved over the V2. And that most people will like it. But I'm not sure that is what you're asking.
I have a question is it worty for pc games ??
I'm not really sure how to answer this. It works for PC games. If you want wireless earbuds I think this is a good choice. But I don't have a lot of experience to say where it fits compared to other wireless gaming earbuds.
The reason I don't lose my sleep over this is because, for me at least, peak FPS pro gaming scene was CS:GO from 2014-2018, take any player from that time period I check what polling rate they were using (everybody was using 1K), so any change that is not magically going to make me play like them. That's a fact. What has actually made a huge difference for me has been new Shapes and weight. With lighter mice I feel less fatigue and aim better and I think peak shape is Razer DAV3Pro.
By and large I would agree with you. I would put more into weight than shape personally. As I've found for myself that shape doesn't affect my overall aim much. Unless if it is a shape that is just really not comfortable which rarely happens. Strangely enough I've also found that the mice that I find to be most comfortable I tend to perform worse with. Usually because other aspects of the mouse are not as good. As like with most things it is the sum of the parts that dictate results. Often you have to trade certain things for others and go with the thing with the least number of trades. But I also think we can get a bit obsessive about trying to change things to be better that we lose sight on what is actually important. While I like to nerd out on all the little things. In reality a lot of that stuff doesn't actually matter. What does matter is you and your skill level. Someone who is great will perform great with nearly anything (assuming the peripheral isn't complete garbage). Which helps me from spinning out of control trying to split hairs such as with polling rate. While I continue to think it gives you an advantage and I can feel it. It isn't as impactful as a lot of other metrics.
Can you use this with a ps4 controller? Mine lets me hear but not talk
Yes, you should be able to use it. Do you not have that selected under the settings? As both of that should be going through the 3.5 mm aux.
in game, i am constantly told i am too quiet after using the plug in mic and maxing out every slider for mic volume, quiet devo.
Microphones are very frustrating. That's for sure. Sounds like you're doing everything right and I'm assuming that you're talking at a normal and consistent level with it in a good position on your face. Which means either something is defective on the headset or it just doesn't work well.
Thanks for your great work , and made me decide to update to Apple tv 2nd gen. Now i need another apple tv 4k for bedroom, should i buy 2nd gen or 3rd gen? Is there better picture quality and sound quality on 3rd gen?
I apologize on the late reply. I found the 3rd gen to be quite a bit faster than the 2nd gen. I didn't do A - B testing. But would imagine that the findings with the Gen 2 that something similar would happen here. As you're using a better chip. But it may be better to look into the actual chip and see what encodings they have as that would be where the benefits would come from. I also think as usual that cost does come into play here. Where if there is a big difference in cost and depending on how often you are using that going with an older model would probably be better from a cost perspective. But I thought the newest generation was cheaper than the old models. But I haven't look at the Apple TV for a long time.
I am very late for the party and got this in 2024 but at a much lower price of $185. I have yet to use the variable actuation feature yet but I can imagine using the same key for walk/run and select/throw grenade. However one negative point is that using this keyboard will render your game controllers undetectable or unusable. I know there is manual work-arounds but I don't think I want to manually disable devices in Device Manager. So I only use this keyboard on days when I'm only playing FPS games (not sports/racing games which require a controller) and that sucks.
That is a very good point that I should have mentioned in the review. I don't tend to use a controller very often so it slipped my mind. But you are correct.
@@ThomasMuehler I was fortunate to have my Xbox wireless controller detected/selected when I disconnected/reconnected the Bluetooth transmitter. But no such luck on my wired PS5 controller (had to connect with wire if I wanted dedicated haptic feedback). So I got a feeling the restriction applies only to wired game controllers so it is not so bad.
Just ordered one of these from Currys (UK) for £100... After my Razer Huntsman Mini (Red optical switch v2) has given up the ghost 5 months outside of its warranty. Looking forward to delivery tomorrow 😊 Great video 👍🏻 thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sorry to hear your old keyboard kicked the bucket right outside of warranty! How frustrating. Keyboards should last a lot longer than that. But I’m excited for your new keyboard!
I have a caseless iPhone 13 Mini in green since it came out ✌️ also no display protector, completely naked. Some micro scratches on the display and a very fine dent on the frame but I don’t care about that
Love it. Still don't know how you do it without a screen protector.
were you born a girl?
Thanks for the info
Is the sound stock or did you lubed those switches and did the tape mod to the keyboard??
Great review btw!❤
That is all stock. I did nothing to it.
That's two bad, but maybe Razer will have a change of mind? I agree, a Viper Mini in a plastic shell would have been amazing.
I've heard that a lot of people do enjoy the Cobra Pro. But still think a lot of people are disappointed it wasn't the exact Viper Mini they were looking for.
